Jane + Geoff planned a perfectly blended wedding day at Philmont Country Club that brought together not only their Mennonite and Jewish faiths, but also their love of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who, to name a few. The personal touches — lightsaber boutonnieres, readings from The Two Towers, and ring inscriptions of “I Love You” and “I Know” to name a few — made the day truly theirs.
It’s really too bad you can’t tell how excited Jane was — from getting ready through formal dances and toasts, she’s got a gigantic smile mirrored by her groom and all of her guests. And if you look close, these two were mirror images while reacting to the lovely toasts from their friends and family. The evening also included a blessing from four Holocaust survivors that brought the whole room to a standstill.
Their wedding day was utterly vibrant and expressive. They married under a chuppah adorned with giant sunflowers — a personal favorite. Jane’s dress had the most beautiful blue tint to it, which she paired with a stunning swiss dot veil, cathedral length, of course. Add to that the deep summer greens and blooming hydrangeas offered by late summer and the perfect overcast afternoon, and we have a colorful, happy set of photographs to share with you.
These photos are positively stunning!
I can’t thank you enough, Melissa! They’re all perfect! You’re the best! !!!!!!
Love love love these photos! And they lived happily ever after.
These are the most exquisite wedding photos I’ve ever seen. And they totally capture the uniqueness of Jane and Geoff as individuals, and as a couple.
Absolutely glorious photos! Mazel tov.
These wedding photos perfectly capture the very special loving energy that lives in Jane/Geoff’s hobbit, and which they so generously shared with all of us on their day. Bravo!
