I have a habit of telling my couples not to worry about the weather, but to buy umbrellas to ward off the rain. After all, the more prepared you are, the less likely it is, right? Well. Usually. Kaela + Steve followed my advice to the letter … but boy did we get wet anyway. But these two were absolute troopers and didn’t let the rain spoil their fun. We soldiered on, and it was worth it, as you can see from this gallery I have to share with you.
The best part was that Kaela + Steve’s early ceremony at the Villanova Chapel afforded us LOTS of time for photos — so much time, in fact, that Kaela was able to surprise Steve with a quick side trip to Dave & Busters (now known as Dave & Bustles, after Kaela’s attendants took over part of the bar to get her bustle together). We had beer towers and Skee Ball and Guitar Hero galore before heading over to the Curtis Center for their reception.
I’m a regular at Cescaphe venues, but it took me a while to cross all six off my list, Curtis Center being my last to collect. I love the open atrium and whimsical chandeliers — and of course the wonderful Cescaphe food and drink we’ve come to expect from any of their venues.
