We woke up to an unexpected and sweet taste of fall on Saturday, and Christina and Christopher’s wedding day was marked by cool temperatures, low humidity, and a delicious breeze. No one complained. 🙂
We started our day in Sicklerville, where Christina apologized that she is “not a crier,” and then promptly cried at the gift that her husband-to-be had made for her. Piling in to the Rolls Royce with her parents on the way to church, Christina was a tiny, picture-perfect bride. After a beautiful ceremony at Saint Mary Magdalen’s in Media, it was off to the brand new Ballroom at Ellis Preserve for portraits before the reception.
Once the formalities were done, Christina and Christopher hit the dance floor and didn’t come off all night. They spiced things up with some Italian music, a Mummer Strut for Christina’s South Philly roots, and at the very end of the night the Fatheads came out.
“I can’t wait for our big, fat, Italian wedding,” Christopher wrote to his wife-to-be. And he was right!
