I know most brides are happy, but you haven’t seen a big, beautiful, bridal smile until you’ve seen Catherine’s. From the moment I arrived at the Hotel Monaco until the very last dance, Catherine’s sheer joy never waned. And her new husband Joe was pretty enthusiastic, too.
We kicked off the day in Old City, getting ready at the Hotel Monaco, and having the first look across the street at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens. From there it was a trip to Broad Street for the requisite City Hall shot. But my very favorite part of portraits was stopping at Santucci’s for portraits inside the pizza shop for Catherine’s beloved “Joey Pizza.”
After melting in the August heat for a bit, we were able to get to Vie with plenty of time to cool off and touch up hair and makeup before the ballroom ceremony. And from there, it was all night on the dance floor with London Bridge, where our bride and groom held court all night.
Have a look, and tell me that smile isn’t infectious.
