Ali + Dan were my first couple to book for 2016, and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding day ever since. They’re one of those couples who makes you feel like family from the moment you step in the door (my favorite kind of couple!). While definitely goofy and fun-loving–as evidenced by their siblings’ toasts–their personal style is very chic, and Ali can turn on a smoldering look at the drop of a hat, which made for some seriously sultry portraits. And it doesn’t hurt that these two look like they were torn right from the pages of Vogue.
From their awesome ACRYLIC INVITATIONS, to getting ready at the penthouse at The Franklin, to their most unique hashtag (#DATunion), Ali + Dan planned a perfectly appointed wedding day–epic, even–starring their fabulous families and an all-star team of vendors (many of whom I’ve been dying to work with, bucket list!). Given their style, Union Trust was the perfectly elegant and trendy backdrop for their big day, styled by the wonderful team from Papertini and organized by Sara’s meticulous Confetti & Co squad. I’m a sucker for a beautiful chuppah, and any venue where I can shoot the hora from the second floor. Have a look!
