Valerie + Charlie had a quintessential Philadelphia wedding over the weekend, with one exception — we skipped most of the typical portrait spots in favor of some pretty unique locations that reflected their adventures as a couple and their love for Philadelphia. Instead of the Art Museum, we headed up to the Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk. Instead of Rittenhouse Square, we hit up Stephen Starr’s Frankford Hall beer garden for Valerie and Charlie the beer lovers. And instead of the City Hall shot from South Broad, we … shot it from North Broad. And as silly as it is, I loved getting a new (if similar) angle! Once all the marrying and photographing was done, we retired to one of my favorites, Cescaphe Ballroom, to enjoy their absolutely over the top hors d’oeuvres spread and dance the night away. Add in some show-stealing nieces and nephews and you’ve got yourself one hell of a blog post:
Wow these are amazing, and you were fantastic. I wish I could go back in time and have you shoot my wedding!!!
